CohousingTimeline Game DIY Kit™
The Cohousing Timeline Game DIY Kit™ is part of a series of outreach educational materials and workshops that Cohousing Collaborative has developed to assist community groups on their journey from dream to realizing joyous, sustainable community. The DIY Kit provides a basic hands-on learning tool for understanding the project development process.
The Cohousing Timeline Game™ was originally developed by Bruce Coldham, Architect (©1991) to help cohousing groups understand the development process. In 1995, Mac Thompson further refined the graphic components of the game. The right to use Bruce Coldham’s materials was obtained by Cohousing Collaborative, LLC in 2006 with the objective of updating and modifying the game to incorporate current approaches and procedures in the development industry.
NOTE: The DIY Kit is specifically designed to reflect the current trend in the cohousing towards Joint Venture approaches. While the game may be adapted for use by communities who intend to use a Self-Development or other approach, modification to the game cards and game play will be necessary.
The DIY Kit is in electronic CD format.
